Some other newspapers and online magazines wrote about the same matter in slightly changed versions.
Non of these articles was actually well researched or written.
I want to take the opportunity to set some things straight:

Why I decided to move to Durness
Ever since i visited Scotland for the first time 7 years ago I knew I wanted to move there one day. Every year I came back and travelled cross country, usually
backpacking and hitchhiking. In December 2009 I went to Durness for the first time and it was immediately clear to me that it was the perfect place for me to move
to. It is situated in the most beautiful landscape of Scotland...mountains and cliffs, lochs and the sea. The village is small but has a good infrastructure, it's a
quiet, peaceful place, the residents are very friendly, everybody greets you on the street and some will have a little chat with you, even though they don't know you.
I went to Durness this march and stayed for a couple of weeks. I was looking for an old croft house I could buy and renovate.
Why I got interested in this plot of land?
Unfortunately I didn't find anything I could afford, even though some locals tried their best to help me. One of them told me that a little spot of land was for sale
in the Balnakeil Craft Village. It was not really what I was looking for, I had something more remote in mind. My original plan was to live in a small house outside
of the village and to work as a mobile hairdresser, driving to the customers places to cut their hair. I didn't think that people would actually be interested in my
second profession as a massage therapist. But after I spoke to a couple of residents I found out that their interest in having a massage therapist in the village was
quite big.
I talked to Kevin Crowe, the owner of the plot of land that was for sale in the craft village and I became more and more interested in this place. It would give me the
opportunity to open a hairdresser and massage studio in the same house I am actually living in. And the people in the craft village seemed to be a friendly and interesting
little community.

Durness and Homosexuals
I was more than surprised that there were some gays and lesbians living openly gay in Durness. It was a relief for me because I knew that people would find out about
my past at one point. As far as I can tell there is not much homophobia in Durness at all. Kevin Crowe and his Partner live in the village for many many years and
never had a problem. And I heard of similar, very positive experiences from a lesbian and another gay man. I only told these two about the fact that I used to date
guys. One of them later found out that I am a famous actor in the adult industry by googeling my name to find me on facebook. He didn't have a problem with it at all
and we got along really well. He and his partner were the only ones, who knew about my past at this point.

The Article
I went back to Germany and talked to my architect about my plans and ideas. Kevin Crowe and I stayed in contact because I still had some questions about the property.
In one mail Kevin mentioned that he was contacted by a reporter of the Sunday mail and was told that I am a gay porn actor. I had not told Kevin or his partner that
I was gay or that I did porn, because it has nothing to to with buying his property.
After I was informed about the reporters interest in my plan to move to Scotland, I immediately contacted my solicitor and asked him if there was anything I could do to
stop an article to be released. He told me that it would be possible, but difficult and very time- and money consuming. His advice was to just deal with it and his
experience was that people in the highlands are actually pretty open-minded and easy-going. He also told me that these magazines usually contact the person the article
is about on a Friday to get a reaction. They do that on a Friday to make sure that the "victim" doesn't have any time to do something against the article that is
released on a Sunday. So on Friday I got a mail by Raging Stallion - the porn company I worked for - that a reporter from Scotland tried to get in touch with me.
I called the Sunday Mail and talked to one of their reporters for more than half an hour. We talked about my love to Scotland, my girlfriend, my time in the military,
my lifestyle (being vegetarian, not doing drugs, not smoking or drinking, being religious, I told her about my youth, the tragic death of my mother and many other
things). I was hoping that she would use some of these details to portrait me as a human being and not just a porn freak.
At the end of the interview I asked her to try to write the article in a respectful and not too negative way, so that my plans to move to Scotland were not endangered
too much. From her reaction I could tell that she didn't care about me and my life at all. A fact that was more than clear when the article was released.

About the article
-"A GAY German porn star has shocked residents of a sleepy Highland village by announcing plans to move there" - I did NOT announce my plans to move there and people
were NOT shocked, until the article was released/until the reporter asked them what they would think about me shooting gay porn movies in Durness...Something I would
never do. And Durness might be a quiet, peaceful place, but it is NOT sleepy
-"...looking at plots and property so he could spend more time in the area." - I don't want so "spent more time", I want to move, stay, work and live there.
-"...Balnakiel Craft Village" - It's Balnakeil NOT Balnakiel
-"A friend of McCree said last night: "It was love at first sight for Logan" - The reporter did NOT talk to any of my friends!!!
-"His acting is the day job - there is so much more to him than that. He knows it's pretty likely that he'll be the only gay porn star in the village but he's relaxed
about it" - Who was quoted here? Don't get me wrong, I am thankful that the reporter wrote "there is so much more to him than that", but I don't think she talked to
any of my friends, so she just made that up.
- SNP councillor George Farlow: "I was at the Durness Community Council meeting a week ago and it wasn't raised. But I would have thought this was absurd in a remote
and rural crofting area." - Mr Farlow did not know about me planning to move
to Durness, because it it is nobodies business besides Mr Kevin Crowe and myself.
- SNP councillor George Farlow: "I just think it's totally inappropriate for the Highlands and indeed such a small area." - In the article like this was Mr Farlows
answer to what he thinks about me moving to Durness. But in fact the reporter had asked him, what he thinks about gay porn movies being shot in Durness. And to be
honest, my answer would have been the same!! Mr Crowe has contacted Mr Farlow who has already apologized. In my opinion there is nothing to apologize for. Mr Farlow
was tricked and "accidentally" quoted in the wrong context.
- "One outraged local, who asked not to be named, said: "When people find out what he does for a living, they will be really shocked." - Well of course the will be
shocked, especially if the find out through a newspaper. But in fact i wonder if this "outraged local" actually exists. I could imagine she just made this person
up, just like she made up the friend of mine she talked to.
- "If he plans to make his living from that while he lives in this community, he might come up against some opposition. It's just not appropriate." - As mentioned
earlier, I have no plans whatsoever to do anything like that in Durness.
- "And the former DJ, who was in a relationship with American porn star Vinnie d'Angelo until recently, even claimed that he was no longer homosexual." - I am STILL
working as a Dj, I am not in a relationship with Mr D'Angelo any more since almost two and a half years, which is not "until recently" and I did not say that I was
not "homosexual" any more. But it is true that I do have a girlfriend and I refer to myself as bisexual.
- He said: "I've fallen in love with a wonderful woman, Zazna, and I'd love to bring her to stay with me once I've finish building my own house." - My girlfriends name
is Zuzana not Zazna!!! And she will not come to Durness with me, because she has a good job and life in Prague and when we started dating I have told her that I would
move to Scotland. We never planned to move up there together.
-  McCree, who is almost completely covered in tattoos, describes himself as the "hottest German porn star around" on his website. - That is actually NOT from my homepage
and I would NEVER say something like that about me, I wouldn't even call myself a star. Everybody who knows me knows that I get upset when somebody calls me a star. I
always refer to myself as actor, which I am!

My sexual preferences
After the article was released the gay community wrote about it as well. The articles were very supportive but some were quite irritated about the fact that I have a
girlfriend and they started wondering if I was just "Gay for Pay".
The answer is: "No"! I only had sex and relationships with guys for 13 years. Last year I decided to try out sex with girls again and it felt right. Shortly afterwards
I met my girlfriend and we started a very happy relationship. I am still attracted to guys as well, but since I am in a relationship I only had sex with guys when I shot
a movie. Of course my girlfriend knew about it and was ok with it!
I hope I answered some questions. If you want to know more about me, you should read this interview I gave a month ago. It is by far the most honest and intimate
